Our Founder
The Drafting Room was founded by bespoke tailor Sonny Grant-O’Sullivan to bring a fresh perspective to traditional tailoring. While the craft is steeped in history, Sonny’s vision has always been to create garments that respect those traditions while speaking clearly to the needs of today.
Every piece, whether part of our collection or a private commission, is shaped by Sonny’s own eye for proportion, fabric and design. His belief is simple: true tailoring should reflect the life of the wearer. It must move with them, serve them, and last far beyond the season in which it was made.
Clients are welcome to visit us in London or to book a private appointment in their home or office. Wherever the setting, the approach remains the same: thoughtful guidance, precision in every detail, and craftsmanship of the highest order.

When I created The Drafting Room, I wanted it to be a place where tailoring could feel personal again. For me, tailoring has never been about fashion or passing trends. It is about understanding the person in front of me, and creating clothing that belongs entirely to them.
Every design you see here begins with my own thoughts and interpretations of how men live and dress today. I believe a suit or jacket should not feel borrowed, but inevitable. Once it is in your wardrobe, it should feel as though it was always meant to be there.
Whether you visit me in London or invite me to your home or office, I will guide you through the process of creating something that is yours in every sense. It is a privilege to do this work, and I treat every commission with the care and attention it deserves.
